                  AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING TENNESSEE
                  STREET LOCATED NORTHEAST FROM HOOKER AVENUE,
                  NORTHWEST OF O'GRADY DRIVE, MORE PARTICULARLY
                  DESCRIBED HEREIN.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
       and abandoned Tennessee Street located northeast from Hooker
       Avenue, northwest of O'Grady Drive, more particularly described
       herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part
       hereof by reference:
            Tennessee Street, a 50 foot wide unopened right-of-way
            beginning on the northeast line of Hooker Avenue
            (unopened) 495 feet northwest of the intersection of the
            northeast line of Hooker Avenue with the new northwest
            line of O'Grady Drive (formerly Kentucky Street), and
            extending northeast 310 feet between parallel lines. 
            Said street separates lots 1 and 20, block 8, West
            Chattanooga Land Company Subdivision No. 1, as shown by
            plat of record in plat book 6, page 34, ROHC, from lots
            10-13, Burns Estates, Unit 1, as shown by plat of record
            in plat book 23, page 11, ROHC.
           
            Tax Map No. 144F-B-7.1, 7.2, 19, 20, and 21.

       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
       shall be effective two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
       provided by law.
